BangkokFoody: Bkk Specials

Hi foodies,

I am Alex (31) from Germany. I've been living in Thailand for almost ten years. I worked in the tourism industry on Phuket for around 6 years. In October 2011 I came to Bangkok to do a bachelors degree in mass communication at the IIS- RU. During that time I sometimes struggled to find the right food. In this area and all over Bkk there is a lot of street food available everywhere but after a while I couldn't see the next to the street pilled up meat or the cheep rice anymore. I love good Thai food but I began craving for some variety, for some international food... As a student I couldn't spend a lot of money in expensive Restaurants so I started cooking at home on a gas camping stove, on my balcony, because the facilities were very limited. After the time passed I found more and more good and affordable restaurants with international food choice in Ramkhamhaeng. Sometimes quite hidden but always good value food. I'd like to share with you the places I discovered. Not only In Ramkhamhaeng but also other favorite restaurants of mine in Bangkok.
